CP WORLD CARGO

The Challenge: The client operated on a legacy infrastructure with a physical server running an obsolete Windows Server 2012 setup. It locally hosted their primary QuickBooks database via Remote Desktop Services without a centralized Active Directory domain, causing severe security gaps and fragmented user management.

The Architectural Solution: FebTech converted the physical server into an enterprise-grade hypervisor using Proxmox VE. We deployed a virtualized Active Directory (AD) for centralized identity control, implemented a pfSense firewall for secure remote worker VPN tunnels, and provisioned a dedicated Windows Server RDS virtual machine for QuickBooks. Finally, we integrated Nakivo Backup & Replication to automate off-site replication to Wasabi cloud storage (S3-compatible) with object immutability enabled to completely neutralize ransomware risks.

Business Outcomes: Successful transition away from high-risk legacy software into a modern, compliant infrastructure with guaranteed business continuity and bulletproof financial data protection.
